Chinese State Bureau for Surveying and Mapping. The State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping of China (SBSM) is and administrative agency of the Chinese Government for surveying and mapping, which was established in 1956. SBSM has two main functions: the organization and management of the national basic surveying and mapping work; and the overall adminstration of the surveying and mapping profession.
