We managed to find another entrance to the Great Wall and did our first demonstration of geodetic techniques here. After our visit to Prof. Xiubin Li and his colleagues at the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research, we concluded that a better understanding of the water cycle could be reached by combining our expertise.

Finally, the Geodetic Journey has started. Beijing showed us many faces today. We visited the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, and the Olympic Games 2008 constructions.
